Ring’s End is celebrating its 114th anniversary this year. This family-owned business comprises a flagship design center located at 181 West Ave., Darien, with additional design center locations in Branford, Danbury, Fairfield, New Milford, Norwalk, Stamford, Trumbull, Westport and Wilton. All have an expansive selection of fabrics, wallpapers, rugs, blinds, shutters and shades plus full-time color consultants for in-store and at-home advice. Within a year, Ring’s End will add a similar showroom in Lewisboro, N.Y.

Paint: Ring’s End is the largest retailer of Benjamin Moore paint in Connecticut, according to company spokesmen. Other premium brands include Farrow & Ball and Fine Paints of Europe, known for their brilliant gloss enamel. Custom tinting and color matching, faux finishing products and a comprehensive array of sundries are available. Ring’s End is also the only stockist of Farrow & Ball in Connecticut with paints and wallpapers of exceptional texture and beauty.

Window treatments: Ring’s End offers Hunter Douglas and Graber products. Both have distinctive designs in stylish fabrics and finishes. The store offers shop-at-home measurement service and installation.

Fabrics and wallcoverings: Designer brands such as Scalamandre, Ralph Lauren and William Morris & Co. are available. Drapery and upholstery is outsourced to the finest workrooms.

Rugs: Selections of wool, cotton, indoor/outdoor and blended rugs in a variety of weaves by Dash & Albert are available.

Contractors: Ring’s End can refer painting and wallpaper contractors with whom they work on a daily basis.
